The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
